I have a question regarding productive use of a custom theme where the ABAP Front End server sits behind a web dispatcher...
In terms of routing, we access our ABAP Front End server through a url say https://mobileSAP.mycompany.com/fiori/ which routs traffic via a SAP Web Dispatcher to the ABAP Front End Server. The ABAP Front End server has a host name of say FIORISRV01.mycompany.com.
When we launch fiori using the standard blue crystal them, the them loads without any issue.
However, once we apply the NWBC config to set our custom theme as default, the fiori client launches but without any theme applied at all.
Upon further inspection, it turns out that the browser is trying to access the theme using the ABAP Front End server host name http://FIORISRV01.mycompany.com/sap/public/bc/themes..... My guess is that this is being read literally from the theme caching into. I would have through that this path would be relative to the request and instead, it should be reading it from https://mobileSAP.mycompany.com/sap/public/bc/themes...
Has anyone else experienced this? or how have others created and published their custom theme to an external facing fiori deployment.
